Cooper’s Croze

It’s Whiskey Tuesday! Time for a deal on Jameson’s Cooper’s Croze. “One of a trio of whiskeys released by Jameson as part of their Whiskey Makers Series – this one has been named in honour of Ger Buckley, Jameson’s Head (or Master) Cooper! Ger has unsurprisingly concentrated on different cask influences; using single pot still whiskey from both first fill and second fill bourbon casks as well as Sherry casks, whilst the grain component was

matured in virgin American oak. Nose: Soft vanilla and burnt sugar (on the verge of chocolatey), pear drops and a hint of floral sawdust. Palate: White chocolate and cinnamon. More floral notes, greengage, a waft of raisin and

pepper. Finish: Charred oak and barley.” The Chaps at Master of Malt
